Girl group 2Yoon recently took a close-up self portrait.

On January 20, Jeon Ji Yoon tweeted a picture with the short comment, “Maybe it was too close.”

In the picture, Jeon is smiling for the camera with Heo Ga Yoon, her unit group partner. They both are wearing colorful clothes and their milky white skin reminded people of a Barbie doll.

People who saw the picture responded: “What did they do to become so beautiful?” “They look good together.” “Since they have formed a unit group, I want them to be successful!”

2Yoon is the first unit group from 4munite. They released their first EP on January 17 and they are currently keeping busy with their title song “24/7.”

Comedian Kim Giri has showed his support for 4minute’s sub-unit, 2Yoon’s debut.

Recently, a photo titled “Kim Giri & 2YOON” was uploaded on an online community board. In the photo, comedian Kim Giri of ‘Gag Concert’, and 4Minute’s Huh Gayoon and Jeon Jiyoon are posing for a photo together.

The photo was taken during Kim Giri’s visit on 2YOON’s dressing room right before their debut performance on KBS 2TV ‘Music Bank’. The comedian first expressed his support for the unit by making an appearance on 2YOON’s “24/7” music video.

4minute JiHyun, “2YOON, Igniting 4minute’s activities… 2013 to be ours”

Girl group 4minute’s leader Nam JiHyun has made a surprising visit to newly formed and active unit duo 2YOON (Heo Gayoon, Jeon JiYoon)’s debut stage, personally giving her support to her dongsaengs.

On the 17th broadcast of Mnet Mcountdown, after 2YOON’s performance, Nam JiHyun came to the broadcast set to give her support. Nam JiHyun who met up with eNEWS has revealed, “I’m really proud of my dongsaengs (2YOON). I wanted to give support personally, so I came to the set”.

Followed this, “There were talks about unit promotions, and they really prepared this for quite a long time. I’ve been looking at the process, and that’s why I’m really proud and want to give support to them. With their hardworking looks, the rest of the members too are motivated and will be preparing for a better comeback in the first half year,” She expressed.

At the end, Nam JiHyun, as a 4minute leader, also spoke about their aspirations in year 2013, “By kicking off 4minute’s activities with 2YOON as a start, 4minute will make a comeback and gain good responses. I hope 2013 will be ’4minute’s year’”.

The country themed music video features the special appearances of comedian Jung Hyung Don and Gag Concert’s Kim Giri, providing a dose of humor for the music video. Labelmates BTOB also appeared in the music video to give their support to their seniors.

With just few hours before its release, 4minute’s Sohyun teases fans by releasing a screencap from 2YOON’s upcoming music video for “24/7”.

On January 17, Sohyun posted the photo above on her Twitter and wrote, “2YOON are finally having their first broadcast stage today. Unnies worked hard on their stage, so I wish there are lots of people who come and support them.”

Kim Giri and Jung Hyung Don to Make Guest Appearance in 2YOON’s 24/7

Comedian Jung Hyung Don made a cameo in the music video of 2YOON’s debut single “24/7.”

A representative from Cube Entertainment revealed, “Jung Hyung Don made a surprise guest appearance in the music video. He’s really close to  4Minute and when he heard about 2YOON preparing their debut album, he was very interested. Despite his busy schedule, he accepted the offer without any hesitation.  The music video will be as fun and energetic as the music. And you can definitely expect some laughs from his cameo. “

Close friend Jung Hyung Don wasn’t the only comedian to appear in 2YOON’s music video. Gag concert comedian and labelmate Kim Giri was also eager to participate in the sub-unit’s debut music video and is expected to deliver quite the funny performance as well.

Labelmates BTOB will also be appearing in the music video.
