Groups Phantom and CNBLUE recently took a picture together.
Phantom, composed of three members, who recently returned with their new song “Like Jo Yong Pil” released a picture on January 25.
The picture looks like it was taken in front of a green room for KBS’s Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook. Phantom and CNBLUE appeared on the show together to perform their new songs live and entertain the audience.
People who saw the picture responded: “I have to watch the show.” “They both are so handsome.” “They look like members of a group composed of seven members.” “Has a new idol group been born?”
The show, in which the two groups appear, will air on January 25 at midnight.

KBS “Music Bank” is back this week full of amazing performances!
The January 25th episode of the show features comeback performances from rookie group MR.MR as well as Monday Kiz and Nine Muses.

CNBLUE tops Billboard’s World Albums Chart
After sweeping off the local music charts, CNBLUE has now topped the Billboard World Albums Chart!
According to latest Billboard Chart rankings issued on January 25, CNBLUE’s fourth mini album ‘Re:BLUE’ topped the Billboard’s World Albums Chart. This is the first time for the group to top the chart.
In addition, CNBLUE’s latst mini album ranked #22 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums.
‘Re:BLUE’ which stands for rebirth of a new CNBLUE, includes six songs all of which were composed by the band members. The title track “I’m Sorry” is a CNBLUE style, modern rock number which was penned and composed by the leader Yonghwa.

Today, Jung Yong Hwa posted on his Twitter, "Everyone, thank you so much for staying with us until late at night for 'Music Bank' filming. Be with us tomorrow, too! It's dangerous at night, hope you get home safely. Thank you so much! With Minhyuk" along with a picture.
In the picture,Yonghwa and Minhyuk are standing next to each other, posing for the camera. Yonghwa who turned into a blonde and Minhyuk wearing glasses seem to have grown even better looking.

CNBLUE to embark on world tour
CNBLUE will become the first Korean band to go on a world tour!
On January 22, FNC Entertainment announced, “CNBLUE are planning to get on a world tour in 2013, which the range will include China, Singapore, Hong Kong, Europe, Australia, North America and South America.”
Currently, concert dates for Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Beijing and Shanghai have been confirmed and the group is currently fixing concert schedules in major cities of Europe and America with local promoters.
The label added, “Such an achievement was not achieved in a short while. It is a pure product of the fame and popularity that they grew through previous promotions in different regions.”

CNBLUE’s first live performance of Yonghwa’s composition “Coffee Shop”: Mind-blowing!
Male group CNBLUE performed “Coffee Shop“, a track from their new mini album in all-live stage.
On the 20 January broadcast of SBS Inkigayo, CNBLUE‘s powerful and rough charms were vividly seen during their comeback stage when they performed “Coffee Shop”.
This song was composed by leader Jung Yonghwa who was inspired by the coffee shops in Hongdae and this song shows the many elements of live performance which is widely known as all the members favorite kind of song.
Lee Jonghyun has said that this song is his most favorite track from this album while Kang Minhyuk said, “When I heard Yonghwa Hyung’s guide version of this song I thought to myself..’this is going to be awesome’. People really need to listen to this song too, not just our title song “I’m Sorry”.”
Lee Jungshin also commented,“It’s a song that is fun to perform live.” Not only the members, their fellow label mate FTISLAND Lee Hongki also showed interest in this song.

CNBlue Jonghyun succeeds on pulling a prank at SHINee's JOnghyun
Looks like CNBlue's Jonghyun finally got his revenge on his friend SHINee's Jonghyun.
On January 17, Lee tweeted that he finally got his revenge for Jonghyun's Diablo prank back in May 2012.
On the video,Lee was giving their new 'album' to JOnghyun. However, inside of CNBlue's photo, there was a hand drawn photo of them and seemed like JOnghyun didn't notice it. It was revealed that there's no CD inside but a Korean snack instead.

FNC Family triumphs at the Golden Disk Awards
FNC Entertainment artists triumphed by securing five awards at the Golden Disk Awards.
On January 15th, the first day of the 27th annual Golden Disk Awards was held at Sepang International Circuit in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and FNC Entertainment’s CNBLUE, FT Island and Juniel won five awards.
Both CNBLUE and FT Island were recognized for their albums ‘Ear Fun’ and ‘Grown Up’ respectively and took home Disk Bonsang Awards. Juniel, who was also recognized for her debut album ‘My First June’, won the Rookie Award.
In addition, CNBLUE won the Malaysia’s Most Favorite Star Award, and president Han Sung Ho of FNC Entertainment received the Best Producer Award.
Celebrating the label’s achievement, CNBLUE’s Yonghwa tweeted, “We are very happy that our FNC family won some great awards. It’s all thank to your love and support. And, thank you so much for the support that you showed for our new song, ‘I’m Sorry’.”

CNBLUE to play live for comeback stages
Idol band CNBLUE will be coming up with the best live comeback performance ever!
CNBLUE released its 4th mini album ‘Re:blue’ on January 14th, featuring the modern rock title song, “I’m Sorry”. According to FNC Entertainment, the group is preparing for the best live performance for their comeback.
Their agency stated, “CNBLUE will make their comeback stages this week with all-live performances. Among the three broadcasting channels, two are set to pre-record in order to provide the live sound, and the remaining one is also in the process of negotiation.”
CNBLUE and many other bands were having difficulties with live performances, because of limited amount of time given to them, and absence of necessary sound equipments. However, CNBLUE has a big thirst and great passion for performing live so they invested a great amount of budget in sound system and equipment installation.
FNC added, “It’s true the members were distressed for being misunderstood about their musicality and skills, when it was due to circumstances unrelated to their own will. They are expected to able to share their thirst for live performances through this comeback.”

Band CNBLUE received over 100,000 pre-orders for their new EP Re:BLUE prior to their return.
On January 13, CNBLUE’s agency, FNC Entertainment said that the new EP received over 100,000 pre-orders so far.

CNBLUE’s Yonghwa voted #1 anticipated male star born in year of the snake
CNBLUE’s front man, Jung Yonghwa, was chosen as the #1 most anticipated male star born in the year of the snake (1989).
6,253 voters took part in a poll conducted by an online portal site, answering the question, “Which male star born in the year of the snake are you looking forward to most this year in 2013?”.
Yonghwa received 32.3% of the votes (2,018 votes), with netizens citing his triple threat skills: music, acting, and variety shows.
In second place was Jung Joon Young of ‘Super Star K4’, garnering 23.1% (1,445 votes) and then Baek Chung Kang of ‘Birth Of A Great Star’ with 20.5% (1,283 votes).
INFINITE’s Sunggyu, actor Lee Jong Suk, and SHINEE’s Onew also made it onto the top tier of the rankings.
