FT Island holds successful concert in Shanghai

FT Island successfully wrapped up their exclusive concert held in Shanghai, China.

On January 19, FT Island held its ‘Take FT Island Tour Live in Shanghai’ concert in Shanghai International Gymnastics Centre in China and drove the fans into the hottest excitement for about two hours.

The group opened up the concert with new song “Life,” and continued to play songs from its fourth studio album ‘Five Treasure Box’ including “Paper Plane,” “The Way,” “Your Words” and “I Wish.”

The members also received an enthusiastic response from the audience by speaking in Chinese. Lee Hongki said, “Please enjoy every bits of the show, because we prepared it all. It’s our second visit to China, and we are so grateful for such a huge love that we are feeling here.”

Song Seung Hyun added, “I hope we will meet with even more fans at a bigger venue.”

FT Island recently held a concert in China.

On January 19 (local time), FT Island held a concert in Shanghai International Gymnastics Centre in China under the title of Take FT Island Tour Live in Shanghai.

Starting the concert with the new song “Life,” they performed “Paper Plane,” “The Way,” “Your Words,” and “I Wish,” tracks from their fourth album Five Treasure Box.

FT Island topped the Chinese and Taiwanese charts with the fourth album. The members got the audience excited by performing the songs live at the concert.

The members also received an enthusiastic response from the audience by speaking in Chinese. Song Seung Hyun spoke Chinese without the help of a translator. He said, “I would like to give performances for the bigger audience in a bigger concert hall next time.”

They also performed such hit songs as “Severely,” “Love Sick,” “Love Love Love,” and “Hello Hello.”

FNC Family triumphs at the Golden Disk Awards

FNC Entertainment artists triumphed by securing five awards at the Golden Disk Awards.

On January 15th, the first day of the 27th annual Golden Disk Awards was held at Sepang International Circuit in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and FNC Entertainment’s CNBLUE, FT Island and Juniel won five awards.

Both CNBLUE and FT Island were recognized for their albums ‘Ear Fun’ and ‘Grown Up’ respectively and took home Disk Bonsang Awards. Juniel, who was also recognized for her debut album ‘My First June’, won the Rookie Award.

In addition, CNBLUE won the Malaysia’s Most Favorite Star Award, and president Han Sung Ho of FNC Entertainment received the Best Producer Award.

Celebrating the label’s achievement, CNBLUE’s Yonghwa tweeted, “We are very happy that our FNC family won some great awards. It’s all thank to your love and support. And, thank you so much for the support that you showed for our new song, ‘I’m Sorry’.”

G.NA – JongHoon, Dramatic back hug, Fluttering hearts

G.NA and Choi JongHoon had had a dramatic back hug.

On the broadcast of ‘The Romantic & Idol’ Season 2, male idols Kevin, MinHyuk, JongHoon, N and female idols, JiWon, Eunyoung, G.NA, Yewon had a special date.

The dates today are paired based on necklace shuffle. Choi JongHoon and G.NA who paired up in their first meeting date, has once again paired up in the necklace shuffle, and had a natural dating experience. The mission of the date was to have a back hug. Embarrassed G.NA and JongHoon set eyes on each other, and successfully completed the mission, taking their relationship one step forward.

After that, G.NA expressed shyly, “At first I thought it was like a child trying to be mature, but now it’s okay. I came to love it.” JongHoon commented, “Through today’s date, it seems that I came to know more about her. Although it was a happy date, there was a part of me trying to  get to know other people, so there’s this slight regret” and, towards Yewon, “There’s a little more regrets.”

G.NA upsets over JongHoon’s feelings for Yewon, “Really Cruel”

G.NA expressed her hurtful heart.

On the 13th January broadcast of The Romantic, 4 couples had went out on a date together at the aquarium. It was a group date, where no specific couple is tied to each other. Followed this, Choi Jonghoon has earnestly expressed his feelings. Choi Jonghoon was revealed to have feelings for Yewon since the beginning, but they had not paired together till yet.

Choi JongHoon kept appearing beside Yewon, implying his intention. G.NA who was coupled with Jonghoon for the second time, despite talking to JongHoon, a sincere answer was not heard from him. G.NA who noticed the strange atmosphere around them did not feel good about it. During the interview after that date, G.NA expressed sadly, “I think this program is really cruel. I know that I felt something different..’ what is this.”

In particular, prior to the interview, female participants thought of G.NA as a strong competitor with her good body. It was thought that G.NA would be the popular girl, but the situation seems to be the reversed of it.
