After releasing their latest single “Dolls” earlier, girl group Nine Muses finally kicked off their comeback promotions starting with their first stage on tonight’s ‘Music Bank’.

“Dolls” was written and composed by the hit producer Sweetune. The funky dance track is about overcoming the struggles of breaking up after being in love.

Nine Muses is returning to stage with a brand new concept, dividing the group into two subunit groups; White Muses and Dark Muses. The Dark Muses will showcase a chic and sexy style, while White Muses will have an innocent and cute concept.

Nine Muses, Compared to Girls' Generation? We Have Our Own Charm'

The 9-member girl group Nine Muses said "We have our own charm" compared to Girls' Generation.

Nine Muses' member Minha, during a press conference held today, talked about releasing their album around the same time as their senior girl group Girls' Generation, saying "We're just honored to be able to work with them."

She said, "We were compared with them in the beginning because we both ahve 9 members, but I think now people have come to accept us simply as Nine Muses. If Girls' Generation showed the process of transforming from girls to ladies, we will be approaching you with a different charm, starting from the mature ladies image."

Nine Muses splits into two units for comeback

Girl group Nine Muses will be making a comeback later this month with two new unit groups. To mark its return, Star Empire revealed the album jackets of Nine Muses’ first unit group, Dark Muses.

The group is divided into two units: White Muses and Dark Muses. Members picked for Dark are Kyungri, Hyuna, Eunji and new member SeungAh. The members of the other group are Leesem, Euaerin, Sera, Minha and Hyemin.

According to the agency, the group hopes to tell two tales through one song “Dolls” through the two subunits.

The White Muses will be revealed on January 18th.

Girl group Nine Muses will be making a comeback later this month. The group released two teaser photos from their music video set, giving fans a peek of their next concept.

On January 16, Nine Muses official Twitter posted teaser photos and wrote, “Revealing spoilers from the MV set of 9MUSES’ ‘Dolls’ to be released on January 24th, 2013!”
