2PM to continue Asian tour in three more countries

2PM is continuing to spend time with its Asia fans through 2013 ASIA TOUR ‘What time is it?’ tour.

Starting in Manila, Philippines on upcoming March 2nd, 2PM plans to carry on the heat of ASIA TOUR in Guangzhou, China on March 30th, Bangkok, Thailand on April 8th. Since the group wasn’t able to visit many countries in Asia this past year due to scheduling conflicts, 2PM is determined to have a tour in 3 countries as the local fans requested ardently.

With the local fans’ passionate love calls, the most fervent response is expected from the concert in Philippines, the first-ever country that JYP artist holds a concert in, and the concert in Thailand, the member Nichkhun’s home.

2PM had attracted the attention of the public with its concert last year, starting with China in November, followed by Indonesia, Taiwan, Macau and more. And to reciprocate fans’ passionate love, 2PM had prepared a special stage for each country, further adding to the excitement.

Hanako is a popular female weekly magazine that is being sold amidst the highest acclaim in Japan, and there has been only 2~3 times that the magazine was covered with the pictures of people.

Especially in a Korea Special Edition that is released yearly, 2PM graced 2011 Korea Special Edition Cover for the first time as a Korean artist and led to the sold-outs. In 2012, 2PM and 2AM, a total of 10 members, were presented in the cover.

2PM will once again grace the cover of the upcoming Korea Special Edition that will be released in February 14th, 2013. It is the first time in Hanako for one artist to decorate its cover for the third consecutive years, and so, demonstrating 2PM’s rising popularity in Japan.

Hanako Editorial Department expressed, “2PM is beloved not only with its Korean albums, but also with Japanese Albums and music, and each 6 member has fervent fans of varied age. In the third year since its debut in Japan, 2PM positioned itself as a talented group and is creating a huge boom. 2PM is the highly expected artist about its growth as Tokyo Dome concert in April is around the corner.”

JYP Entertainment stated, “It is significant experience that reflects 2PM’s passionate local popularity to grace the cover of Hanako. It is very delightful that 2PM not only became the first Korean artist to decorate the cover, but also decorated the cover for the 3 years in a row. We would like to express our gratitude to national and local fans, who love and support 2PM.”

2PM’s Chansung makes successful first appearance ‘7th Grade Civil Servant’

2PM’s Chansung made a powerful first appearance on the new Wednesday-Thursday MBC drama ‘7th Grade Civil Servant’.

The 2nd episode of the drama had drawn viewer’s attention by having multiple NIS (National Intelligence Service) agents such as Chansung, Kim Min-Seo, and I-Elle, etc. Furthermore, the appearance of the decent agent, Gong Do Ha (Chansung), who seemed not to have taken his eyes off Kim Seo Won (Choi Gang Hee) was enough to shake female hearts.

Gong Do Ha and Kim Seo Won have their first encounter while Kim Seo Won Hee was trying to avoid Gil Ro (Joo Won) at the NIS interview, resulting to drag Do Ha as her shield. Ever since then, Do Ha couldn’t help hiding the feeling that he began to have for Seo Won.

Furthermore, the veil of Do Ha’s bullet-scarred abs was revealed, in turn provoking the motherly instinct of female viewers.

‘7th Grade Civil Servant’ is the romance action performance where everything else of the newbie agents is lie except the love they have. The drama is on air every Wednesday and Thursday night at 9.55PM.

2PM will soon go on a tour of Asia.

Starting in Manila, the Philippines, on March 2, 2PM will hold concerts in Guangzhou, China, on March 30, and in Bangkok, Thailand, on April 8.

As they couldn’t hold concerts in many countries last year because of their busy schedule, 2PM have decided to hold concerts in the three countries at the request of many fans from the countries. They’re holding a concert for the first time in the Philippines, and Nichkhun will visit his home country, Thailand, this time.

Starting in Shanghai, China, in November last year, 2PM held concerts in such countries as Indonesia, Taiwan, and Macao. Attracting a total audience of 8,000 to 10,000 to every concert depending on the size of the concert hall, 2PM proved their popularity as the best boy band in Asia.

This year’s tour will be bigger and more spectacular than the last tour. The members were also recently commented that they have become musically more mature by writing songs.

Ticket reservations for 2PM’s concert, What Time Is It?, in Manila, the Philippines, will begin on January 26.

During the press conference for the MBC drama "Level 7 Civil Servant" that was held at 63 City, Yeouido on the 21st of January, Hwang Chansung confessed, "I burned my hand while I was filming a shooting scene. But it has completely recovered since then."
In "Level 7 Civil Servant," Hwang Chansung plays the role of Gong Doha, who had applied for the NIS with the intention to serve his country and managed to pass through with his background as a soldier from the special forces. Gong Doha's character is of a very thorough and elite, but at the same time a very cool-headed, agent of the NIS.
Hwang Chansung mentioned, "It feels nice playing a role whose character and personality is the exact opposite from the role that I played during the sitcom 'Unstoppable Highkick'."
He added, "Gong Doha is a character who doesn't talk very much, and may seem unfriendly and cold. He's extremely different from my real personality. Even though he is a very quiet character, he certainly isn't that straightforward and boring. Behind his perfectionist character lies another interesting side of him. I think you can look forward to him."
On a side note, "Level 7 Civil Servant" is a romantic drama that tells the story of how a young male and female become experts in tricking each other. The first episode of MBC Drama "Level 7 Civil Servant" is scheduled to be aired on the 23rd of January.

Hwang Chansung, a member of the group 2PM, giggled as he confessed, "Among the idol-actors, I truly believe that Ok Taecyeon is the best actor out there."
Hwang Chansung had confessed the above statement during the press conference for the new MBC Wed-Thurs drama "Level 7 Civil Servant," which was held at the 63 Building's Annex Juniper Room, Seoul Yeongdeungpo-gu, Yeouido, on the afternoon of January 21st.
When Hwang Chansung, who was originally an idol, was asked about his thoughts on challenging acting, he answered, "Though I am an idol, I don't think I'm anything special when it comes to acting. I just thought I should put my best effort into acting out my given role. That's why I'm really working hard on the filming."
"In order to portray my character, Gong Doha, as accurately as I can, I'd talk and discuss a lot with my acting teacher, the director, and the writer. I've been working very hard on trying to make my character appear as a very chic character," Hwang Chansung continued.
Hwang Chansung also added, "Among all of the idols who have challenged acting, I truly believe that Ok Taecyeon-sshi is one of the best," as he giggled. Chansung as Gong Doha on L7CS

"Among the many new agents, the one and only agent recruited through special employment."

To live and die at one's own country.
An agent from the National Intelligence Service whose love is only meant for his country and not women.

He applied for NIS with the intention to serve his country and passed through with his background as a soldier from the special forces.

Despite the fact that he personally thinks he's the strongest agent out there, he's not given any special treatment by anybody at NIS thus hurting his pride.

Though he looks down on the other agents who doesn't even carry a strong patriotism and eager comradeship, Seowon (Choi Kang Hee's character) was different.
He somehow felt attached to her and felt like he should do something for her, as if he should protect her.
